A Wonderful Christmas!!

Christmas was so much fun! Gavin loved the toys, and the boxes they came in, and even the wrapping paper and bows! He is pretty good at entertaining himself. While we were opening presents, he played in his new Christmas tent, walked around and touched all of the new stuff, crawled under the Christmas tree, and spent almost an hour turning on and off the lights on the tree! Such entertainment watching him! We had a great Christmas breakfast and yummy Christmas dinner! I was very lucky to get my first Coach purse from Grier AND my first sewing machine from my parents. Also many other awesome and generous gifts! Grier got a cool new hockey bag from my parents and got his hockey season paid for by his mom. Gavin got a cool ride on toy from my grandparents, a tent, clothes and his first build a bear from Grier's dad and step-mom. We are very blessed! So much love and generosity! My favorite holiday! I love the Christmas cheer and holiday spirit! I love the Christmas lights, jingle bells, stockings and presents! And teaching Gavin about Christmas lets me relive all of the holiday magic!

Indiana and Halloween!

We flew with Gavin to Indiana to visit Grier's Dad and step mom and to attend Grier's high school reunion. We had a great time!!! Grier's parents graciously offered to watch Gavin when we went to the reunion. It was at a casino and it was really fun! Grier got to see and catch up with old friends! In , Gavin got to meet lots of the family too. He had so much fun cuddling with his nana and papaw. It was a short trip, but a great one! And Gavin did so great on the plane. We hope to be making more trips soon!

Halloween was fun too! Grier wanted Gavin to be something "cool", so Gavin was a skeleton. Grier also wore a Cookie Monster tshirt and I wore an Elmo one. It was fun! Gavin loved our shirts!

Justin and Jamie's wedding!!! 10/5/12

So much fun! It was an amazing wedding, at a the beautiful Dove Canyon country club. Wonderful people, great food and a fun DJ. Such an amazing night!!! Everything turned out perfectly!

MBA Program

So so busy, I have been forgetting to post! I started the MBA program on Sept 3rd and that has been taking up a lot of my free time!

It is a satellite program, so it is mostly online (some tests I have to go in person for), so the hours are flexible. I have been doing most of the work at night after Gavin goes to bed. So if having a baby and working full time weren't enough...now I have school too, lol.

I am doing a double concentration in business of Finance and Accounting. It is going really good so far! I am hoping it will benefit my career path in the long run. It is an expedited program so I should be done in a little over 2 years! Woohoo!

9 months old!!

Such a busy, happy boy!! Cruising around holding onto furniture. Now he is standing on his own for up to a minute and walking a step from the couch to the ottoman on his own. Such a big boy!

Jamie's Bridal Shower

Such a great day! It was Japanese Tea Party themed, and came out wonderful! Yummy food, fun games and great company! And Gavin loved all of the extra attention he received from the ladies!!!

8 months old!

Crawling, standing and climbing! 7 months

Such a busy boy!!! It was like as soon as he mastered crawling, he wanted to try standing. So he crawls to the couch, then pulls himself up into a stand. Then tries to climb up on the couch...silly boy, he can't do that yet! It's like he seems less like a baby now that he is getting around! Well until he falls down and gets an owwee :( he fell and hurt his head last weekend. He was standing next to the coffee table and holding himself up with his hands on the table, and just let go!!! He fell head first onto the hard wood floor. Poor baby got a big bruise. But it didn't seem to bother him too much after a little while. It was a couple days ago and you can still see the bruise.

Happy Half Birthday!

Can't believe Gavin is already 6 months old!!! The time has flown by! He is getting so big! Sitting up on his own, rolling like crazy, laughing, squeeling, and newest of all is CRAWLING (Backwards only so far). I'm sure he will learn how to go forwards soon! And he loves his walker. Big boy got his 6 month shots today and barely cried! He didn't even have 1 tear coming down. So proud :) I will post 6 month pics from my phone...

New tricks!!!

Gavin has been rolling around like crazy! He rolls and scoots across the floor. He even tries to do the "army crawl" on his fore arms with his legs out strait and dragging. He also started holding his own bottle and holding both of his own feet. It gets really hilarious when he tries to put both feet in his mouth at the same time. It is crazy how fast they learn! I'm scared for him to start crawling...he will get into everything!!!!lol

Fun Night Out!

Last night we had a great time out with great friends for Matt Worley's birthday! It was wonderful to spend some time with the Besties and their husbands. We had cocktails, hung out by the fire and danced. The best part of the night was when Jessica and Matt cut into their cake to find out their baby's gender!! The cake filling was pink...it's a GIRL! So excited for them!

Gavin spent his first sleepover at grandma and grandpa's house. He did great and still slept 9 hours strait through the night for them! Yay Gavin, such a good boy!
